Tim Tebow to Jets: New York Completes Trade with Denver Broncos
After a wild day, Tim Tebow has reportedly signed with the New York Jets, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Schefter tweeted on Wednesday:
"Denver has agreed to trade Tim Tebow and a seventh-round pick to the Jets for the NY's fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Schefter reported a deal between the Jets and the Denver Broncos early Wednesday, but there was a hold up because of some contract language. That's because the Broncos paid Tebow $5 million in salary advancements, and the team he is traded to would have to pay that money back.
Tebow will be in a murky situation in New York. The Jets have Mark Sanchez as their starter. Tebow could potentially be in a similar situation as he was in with the Broncos before last season started—a backup fighting for a shot at the starting gig.
The Jets have to be thinking of Tebow as the backup, given turning on Sanchez for Tebow would be a slap in the face to Sanchez, to say the least.
Tebow, despite throwing under 50 percent last season, led the Broncos to five fourth-quarter comebacks in the regular season and had the game-winning toss against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card Round. He's wildly inaccurate, but he also got the job done for the Broncos last season, making him arguably the most polarizing figure in the NFL.
But when Peyton Manning was signed out of nowhere, you got the feeling that the writing was on the wall for the 24 year old.
Now, Tebow is headed to New York.
And you thought Tebow Mania was bad in Denver.
