NCAA Tournament 2012 Snubs: Examining Latest Mistakes of Selection Committee
The NCAA Tournament Selection Committee gets it wrong every year. It's a proven fact.
That is, depending on who you talk to.
There were several teams that were sent packing to the NIT this year after expecting to hear their names on Selection Sunday. Some of these teams deserved to make it...or at least had a very good case.

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Here's a look at the three biggest snubs this year.
3. Miami Hurricanes (19-12, 9-7 ACC)
The Hurricanes had wins against Duke and Florida State this year. Among their losses, most of them were close, including games against Virginia, Florida State and NC State (twice).
They ended the season on a down note, but if the Selection Committee is going to tell us it seriously considers strength of schedule and leaves the Hurricanes out (SOS: 34), then that's simply not being honest.
2. Oral Roberts (27-6, 17-1 Summit)
Despite an impressive record and a blowout win against then-No. 22 Xavier on Dec. 18, Oral Roberts was passed up this year.
On top of that, the Golden Eagles won 20 of their last 22 games of the season and ranked 11th and 59th in field goal percentage and points per game respectively.
In the end, a one-point loss to Western Illinois in the tournament semifinals was their undoing. Kind of rough if you ask me.
1. Drexel (27-6, 16-2 CAA)
A lot of people had Drexel making the NCAA Tournament this year, and for good reason.
The Dragons had a solid record and a 19-game winning streak, but a loss in the CAA tournament championship game against 2011 Final Four darling VCU was their undoing.
The biggest gripe is that the Iona Gaels made it. The Gaels played in a weaker conference and didn't even reach their tournament final.
