WWE Rumors: Steve Austin, The Rock, Sting and Monday's Top WWE News
When RAW takes place tonight from Cleveland, all eyes will be on The Rock and John Cena's dueling concerts, but for different reasons than we have been watching the previous two weeks.
This feels like one of those WWE solutions when the creative team is out of ideas for two stars. Short of them actually coming to blows, which would be a mistake at this point, there is no reason to do a concert.
We shall see how this whole thing plays out tonight. In the mean time, there is some news, notes and information to breakdown from a rather slow weekend in wrestling. This is very much the calm before the storm, and we are here to tell you all about it.

STEVE AUSTIN GIVES A HISTORY LESSON ON THE "STUNNER"
The Stone Cold Stunner, one of the greatest finishing moves in WWE history, was given to Steve Austin from an idea by...John Laurinaitis. Yes, the executive vice president of talent relations and interim general manager of RAW truly is an innovative mind.
Question on Everybody's Mind: So in theory, Johnny Ace is responsible for Austin's success, right?
Our Take: Yes, Johnny Ace's spot in wrestling history has forever changed after this bombshell revelation. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him go out tonight and get the biggest babyface reaction we have ever heard.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Kicks to the Gut
Looking at Laurinaitis now, it is easy to remember that he was actually a wrestler. He is so goofy and clumsy on RAW that you wonder how he ever made it work in the ring. Kudos to him for making a nice career out of it.

ROCK'S POST-WRESTLEMANIA SCHEDULE WON'T INCLUDE MUCH WWE
Not that this should be a surprise to anyone, but Rock is going to be away from WWE for at least a few months while filming. Enjoy what you see now, because he won't be around after April 2.
Question on Everybody's Mind: When will Rock return?
Our Take: The reports say that something could be in the works for SummerSlam, and since it takes place in Los Angeles that would seem to work well with his schedule. It will be interesting to see if he wrestles on the show.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Tooth Fairy Sequels
Rock's return has actually done wonders for John Cena's career and on-screen persona, so his absence will be felt in so many ways. Not only will he be gone, but Cena will likely revert back to his old, lame-joke telling, not caring about anything self.

ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL BURIES STING'S CAREER
While WWE fans have wanted to see Sting bring his talents to them, he remains mired in TNA. One person who isn't impressed with Sting's laundry list of accomplishments is Animal, who said that Sting isn't an icon because he never worked for WWE.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is he serious, bro?
Our Take: That might be the most asinine statement ever. Basically, it buries any wrestler who never worked for WWE. Just because WWE is the only big game in town now doesn't mean it's the only place where you can be an icon.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Spiky Shoulder Pads
Sting's career has been overrated, but not for reasons that Animal says. He was a good worker with some charisma in his prime, but was he ever one of the very best performers in the world? No. That wouldn't have changed in WWE.

MADUSA BACK TO WWE?
One of the most infamous moments during the Monday Night Wars was then-WWE women's champion Madusa throwing the title in the trash on WCW Monday Nitro. Turns out that time may have healed that wound, since she revealed this weekend that WWE contacted her, but she won't say why.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is she going to wrestle Beth Phoenix at WrestleMania?
Our Take: The women's title match at WrestleMania is in a state of flux due to the personal problems surrounding Kharma. Madusa would have to be one of many women in that match because WWE fans today have no idea who she is.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 Trash Can Champions
Even if WWE does bring back Madusa, conventional wisdom would tell you that she is going to get buried because of what happened with WCW. That was a long time ago, but Vince McMahon doesn't forget something like that. Remember, he threw Eric Bischoff in a garbage truck.
