Eve Will Be a Major Force on WWE Raw

Ever since she shockingly turned heel on Raw a few weeks ago, WWE diva Eve Torres has emerged as a true star. 

Yes, as the dangerous femme fatale who viciously broke Zack Ryder's heart and ruined his friendship with John Cena, the Diva Search winner has fast become one of the most loathed heels in WWE today.

Indeed, she's garnering such a strong reaction from outraged fans in the arenas, we imagine a few of her male peers are growing envious.

But why is Eve guaranteed success in WWE with this new heel character? Here are just some of the reasons...

She's Getting More Airtime Than Any Other Diva

Beth Phoenix is Divas Champion, but is barely on television. Supposed top babyfaces Kelly Kelly and Alicia Fox make only sporadic appearances on Raw and Smackdown these days.

Third-generation wrestler Natalya has found herself stuck in short, unfunny backstage segments which exist solely to further her dreadful "flatulance" gimmick. 

Former WSU star AJ Lee gets some airtime on Smackdown as Daniel Bryan's put upon girlfriend, but even then she is strictly a supporting character. Everyone else (Tamina, Kaitlyn, Maxine) is stuck on the little-watched NXT. 

However, since her current angle with Zack Ryder kicked in, Eve has become one of the most eminent divas on the roster, blessed with a hefty amount of airtime and attention every week.

It goes without saying that getting over with the fans requires a decent level of exposure, and this is one reason Eve is more of a star than the rest of the girls.

Eve Has Charisma

Torres stands out from the current gaggle of generic divas partly thanks to her presence and natural charisma. Indeed, it was her gorgeous smile and bubbly personality that allowed her to win the hearts of the fans in 2007 and win WWE's fourth official Diva Search contest.

It also greatly aids her now that she's a heel: We can can totally understand Ryder falling head over heels for this girl even though she treats him so shoddily. She's simply has "it."

Fans Love to Hate Her

Maybe it's because Eve can throw the best over-the-top tantrums ever or maybe it's because a lot of male wrestling fans have had to deal with duplicitous women in their own lives and can thus relate to poor Zack—but members of the WWE Universe are absolutely itching to boo the former Divas Champion vociferously whenever she comes out.

Eve Can Cut Amazing Promos

With the exception of possibly NXT diva Maxine, Torres has the best promo skills of any woman in the company. She speaks clearly, doesn't trip over her lines and comes off as very natural on the mic. 

She can also expertly play up her villainous role in front of a crowd and garner herself even more of a reaction.

Really, she's so good, you'd think she'd have been playing the heel role for years now.  

Her Angle with Ryder Is Continuing

On last week's Raw, a still injured Ryder came out to berate Eve for her treatment of him during her match with Alicia Fox. He then limped off only to be confronted by the scheming diva backstage who pleaded with him to give her another chance.

Ryder tried to ignore her, but was then the shell-shocked recipient of a long, passionate kiss from his former friend. A smug Eve then strolled off, leaving Zack to take in what had just happened.

So, will Ryder forgive Eve for her past transgressions? Is he still in love with her? Has Eve really turned over a new leaf, or is she just still using him? 

Who knows? Regardless, as this storyline continues, Eve will continue to be in the limelight and be a major force on Raw.
