NCAA Bracket 2012: Teams Whose Bubble Burst During Conference Tournaments
Selection Sunday is finally upon us, and we are just a few hours away from learning who made the field of 68.
We’ve been waiting all year for this, and now that it’s almost time to start filling out our brackets, let’s take a look at who most likely will miss the cut for the 2012 NCAA Tournament.

UConn's STACKED Schedule ☠️

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
The Mountaineers really should have been in the tourney, as a spot was sitting right there and just asking to be claimed by WVU.
Instead, they lost in the first round of the Big East Tournament against UConn, which made it eight losses in their final 12 games.
They’ll need a lot of luck and generosity from the selection committee to go to the Big Dance this season.
California
This team had the best RPI in the Pac-12, which amounts to a lot of nothing. Their conference is terrible, and the fact that they didn’t win the regular season title and got eliminated in the Pac-12 Tournament is ridiculous.
The Golden Bears simply aren’t cut out for March Madness.
St. Joseph’s
It would have been great to see St. Joe’s back in the tourney for the first time since 2008. They looked like they were headed back until a terrible loss to St. Bonaventure in the A-10 quarterfinals.
The Hawks are most likely going to have to wait until next year to make the 68-team field.
UCF
The Knights could have made it this year with a win over Memphis on Friday, but they got demolished instead.
There is no excuse for that performance, and it is exactly why they won’t be dancing today.
