Wrestlemania 28: Could the Rock Possibly Turn Heel Before Wrestlemania?
Last night on Raw we got to see the Rock return to address the trash talk Cena had dealt him last week. His appearance was what everyone expected: He spouted some catchphrases, made up new ones and said why he will beat Cena.
Cena came out and addressed The Rock in person, and in my opinion, Cena put Rock in his place last night.
The Rock may be able to make things trend more than Cena and he may invoke a bigger pop, but there is no denying that everything Cena said last night was true.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The Rock may have grown up around wrestling, but Cena is still here and that is the difference. Cena has already had a longer run than Rock did in WWE, and he has held more titles as well, but because The Rock had other guys like SCSA around it made him seem bigger than he was.
Cena showed last night that not only will he tell it like it is, but he can make Rocky go on the offensive. Whether or not WWE planned it that way is unknown, but The Rock seemed desperate after Cena left the ring.
He began stuttering and tried to get the crowd fired up with some of his old catchphrases, which of course worked because all he has to do is say candy-ass and people freak out.
I love The Rock and I loved him while he was in WWE full time, but last night I was in Cena's corner 100 percent. Judging from the comments on my Raw recap, a lot of other readers were too.
If WWE intended for both men to go into the match as babyfaces, then they must have known that Cena would get booed like he was beating a baby seal.
If WWE wants their current top star to come out of this looking good then there is one solution: turn Rocky heel. Will it happen? Probably not, but it makes sense.
Having Rock go heel before Mania will ensure that Cena will get a better reaction from the crowd than he would have when he inevitably wins the match.
If The Rock is the fan favorite and Cena gets booed after he wins then what is the point of bringing back The Rock at all?
Someone of his caliber was obviously brought in to do two things; boost ticket sales and pass the torch to the new top guy, Cena.
The ticket sales will happen naturally, but how is The Rock helping to boost Cena if he gets the bigger reactions and has the crowd booing WWE's current top money maker?
This whole situation will probably go down with Rocky extending his hand in a sign of respect after their match, but until then I just don't get why WWE is going to such lengths to make Cena look like the weaker of the two when he is their best draw these days.
I have no doubt that The Rock will not turn heel, but it would actually make the most sense from a long-term perspective to have Cena come out and get the bigger reaction since he will be, after all, there for the long run after Mania is all over.
The sad thing is that even if Rock did go all heel on everyone, the crowd would probably still cheer him because he is The Rock and can do no wrong in the eyes of his fans.
I love the guy, but I want to see him step up and do the right thing be helping push the guy who is driving the company these days instead of pulling the spotlight toward himself.
Maybe I am looking at this the wrong way, but this is how I see it.
What do you think, should The Rock turn heel so Cena can get the babyface pop at Mania?
