RANDY ORTON OUT THIS SUNDAY
WWE is entering a crucial time and can't afford any serious injuries. That is why the news of Randy Orton being taken off the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view with a concussion is so distressing. WWE is saying it happened after Daniel Bryan hit him in the head with the world title belt.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Daniel Bryan going to be punished?
Our Take: Knowing the way WWE operates, Bryan will probably start the Elimination Chamber match first and be pinned almost immediately. Hopefully that doesn't happen, because he deserves to go to WrestleMania as world champion.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Bad Injuries
You wonder what this injury will do for Orton leading into WrestleMania. Concussions are serious, and everyone heals differently. While there are still six weeks to go before the big show, the symptoms could linger.

THE ROCK CUTS MORE PROMOS ON CENA
While we still have to wait for The Rock to get back in front of the WWE cameras, he is still not missing any chances to take shots at John Cena while promoting his new movie.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Where is Cena's response?
Our Take: He didn't have the chance to give one on Raw because he was too busy watching Eve walk into an ambulance. The retaliation, no matter how lame it might be, will come after the Elimination Chamber. He better have something good to say.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Boots to Asses
When you really look at how far out of his way he has gone to promote this match and event, The Rock really deserves a lot of credit. He didn't have to do it, but now that the time has come to build for it, he is doing all he can to sell the fans.

CM PUNK AND THE ROCK MAKING NICE
Speaking of The Rock, if you recall, CM Punk was not too high on the Great One's return last summer. The lines between reality and storyline work were blurred, but it appears the two have become best friends thanks to Rock's role in the new G.I. Joe movie.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will CM Punk get a match with Rock?
Our Take: That would be great, and it would make some sense given everything that Punk started last year, but it all depends on how much Rock wants to keep wrestling. For the sake of the fans, let's hope he has more in him than just WrestleMania.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 G.I. Joe Action Figures
Rock proved at the Survivor Series that he still has a lot of wrestling left in him. He can't throw it all away against Cena. Punk would make a great second opponent for Rock at a show like SummerSlam if the situation presents itself.

MR. SOCKO MEETS THE COBRA AT WRESTLEMANIA
At the Royal Rumble, there was a memorable spot in which Mick Foley and Santino Marella exchanged sock puppets. There has been a clamoring to bring the duo back together in some form, and Foley talked about whether it will happen at WrestleMania in an interview.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is WWE going to give the people what they want?
Our Take: So far, we have The Rock vs. John Cena, Undertaker vs. Triple H, CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho and Big Show vs. Shaq on the show. Teaming Santino and Foley to take on some dorks in a comedy match would not be the worst thing ever.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Garlic Breath Strips
Foley is right about not being able to work a great WrestleMania match, but it would be fitting if his final one came on the same show as the Rock's big return.
Vince McMahon, the ball is in your court. Do the right thing.

BATTLE ROYAL DECIDES SIXTH MAN IN SMACKDOWN ELIMINATION CHAMBER
With Orton being taken out of the Elimination Chamber, WWE had to do a quick 180. The best way to do that is a battle royal, and who better to win than Santino Marella.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Was there nobody better?
Our Take: There are plenty of better options available, like Christian, who is due to return any time, Brodus Clay or a kid in the front row. It is hard to imagine what went through Vince McMahon's head when he decided on Santino to win this match.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Awful Booking Decisions
Even though Santino is set to be in the match right now, it would not be a surprise to see someone attack him backstage during the show and take his spot in the match. That has to be the thinking right now. There is no way Santino should be in a top match on a pay-per-view.
