A Psychic Camel and Ricky Rubio vs. America: BR5 1/31

BR5Jun 7, 2018

Welcome to BR5—your source for sports and pop culture news.

Today’s episode of BR5 gets you up to date on everything from a camel's Super Bowl prediction to a jockey's lust.

A camel likes the Giants, plus the points.  Princess the camel and her lady lumps predict football games in her spare time. This year, she went 14-6 picking regular season and playoff games and has correctly picked five of the last six Super Bowl champs.

She picked the New York Giants to win, so that could technically make Tom Brady and the crew the underdogs.

Ricky Rubio’s talking an awful lot of smack about America.  He tells Kobe Bryant the U.S. can expect to finish second in Olympic basketball. Rubio is, of course, picking his fellow Spaniards to take home the gold.

Longtime horse trainer Peter Casey’s 6/4 favorite horse Flemenstar recently came through with a victory for him. Casey was so happy that he let Tracy Piggott from Irish TV station RTE know exactly what the win meant to him.

"I can't believe it. I can't believe it. I'll sleep tonight. I'll have f**kin' sex tonight and everything," That’s right—Casey’s planning on getting lucky at least once more...

In celebration of their undefeated run, and first-ever top-10 ranking, Murray State has decided to go one step further, recording their first song and video. And its pretty good!

That's right, Murray State shot and produced this fan anthem, featuring "Trubz and Matlock," and we gotta say, its pretty damn catchy.

But, then again, when it comes to music videos by sports teams, the bar has been set fairly low. Let's not forget the sound crimes committed by the '86 Rams…and Raiders. Man, the 80s just weren't good for anybody.

The tallest high school basketball player in the country is, not surprisingly, dominating other high schoolers.  Mamadou Ndiaye is making life miserable for everyone else in the California Prep league—mainly by being a foot and a half taller than most of them.

The 7'5" high school junior is taller than any player in the NBA right now—and he might not be done growing.

For the rest of the Brethren Christian basketball squad and the coach, the game plan goes something like this, "Ok guys...you pass it to Mamadou and then he dunks it."

Looks like he’s reading directly from Teen Wolf’s playbook...
