Chad Ochocinco Credits Randy Moss and Terrell Owens for Maintaining Sanity
Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss have a super-secret diva wide receivers club. In other news, Ochocinco needs new friends.
This may sound like a joke, but I assure you that I am being 100 percent serious.
There's no denying that Ochocinco has had an absolutely horrible year, especially considering the expectations that he had coming into New England.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The fresh start, the regimented program and the all-time great quarterback were supposed to be great things for Ochocinco, and many expected him to thrive and revive his fading career with the Patriots.
Those were the expectations, but reality gave us a whole different story.
This is a wideout that many considered to be one of the best in the league just a few short years ago. He holds career numbers of 766 receptions, 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns mind you, yet when paired up with one of the best quarterbacks of all-time, he could only somehow manage to bring in just 15 catches for 276 yards and one touchdown.
Ochocinco has been one of the biggest disappointments of this season, and he knows it.
Obviously, this has to be a very frustrating process for the one-time great, so it would make sense that he turns to his friends for support.
Just exactly who does Ochocinco lean on during the tough times? The answer may surprise you, according to quotes gathered by The Rap Sheet blog on BostonHerald.com:
"Toward the end of the conversation, he dropped this tidbit about being able to keep his sanity thanks to having the constant support of two great friends, Randy Moss and Terrell Owens, who have kept his head up while he’s been practically invisible in the offense.
”For me, those guys were my outlets. Not Twitter,” Ochocinco said of Moss and Owens, who weren’t in football this season. ”To have those two guys in my corner, I talk to them all the time. (Moss) kept me sane for 16 weeks, every week. Every week we talked. T.O, too. We’re close-knit, us so-called diva receivers. Who is going to understand what I’m talking about, or going through, from my standpoint? Not Bill, not Tom. It’s like having my own personal support group. I love those two, man. I didn’t want to burden anyone else in here with that bull. They don’t want to hear that.”
"
Like I said, Ochocinco, Moss and Owens have a super-secret diva wide receivers club.
I need to get in on this...
Are these really the best role models that Ochocinco could find to help him turn around his career? We're only talking about two of the most disruptive and selfish players to ever grace the NFL. Sure, they were super talented, but when their talent faded, all we were left with was a sideshow of antics and explosions.
I can only imagine the conversations that they had during these club meetings:
Ochocinco: "Guys, what should I do? I'm really having a horrible season."
Owens: "Don't worry man, it's all on Brady. He just doesn't get what you're trying to do there."
Moss: "If all else fails, just blame it on the coaching staff and bad catering. Works every time."
I imagine after this conversation they each practice a celebratory touchdown dance, check themselves out in the mirror and tell each other how good they are.
Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the super-secret wide receiver diva's club. Perhaps we've found the true reason Ochocinco has had such a bad year.
