WWE Royal Rumble 2012: AJ Lee Will Cost Big Show World Title
This Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, we will witness a triple threat steel cage match for the World Heavyweight Championship pitting champion Daniel Bryan against two giant, angry monsters, Big Show and Mark Henry.
Both Henry and Show have had their chances to regain the World title after each lost it at TLC, which ended with Bryan cashing in his Money in the Bank contract.
In each instance, Bryan weaseled his way around the opposition.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
First, he taunted the spectator Henry in his first match against Show, causing Henry to shove Bryan, forcing the match to end in a disqualification.
Then, in the return match against Big Show, which was a no disqualification match, Bryan decided to anger the giant Show, who chased Bryan around the ring—only to end up leveling AJ Lee in the process. Subsequently, AJ was stretchered out of the arena and is thought to be in critical condition.
Finally, Henry got his shot at reclaiming the gold on the Smackdown Roulette show from Las Vegas. The stipulation of the match ended up being a lumberjack match.
As the match started to gain steam, both men were out of the ring, and the lumberjacks demolished both men—probably because both Henry and Bryan have become insufferable to the rest of the roster—causing it to end in a no contest.
Henry was actually the innocent bystander in this case because he tossed Bryan out to the lumberjacks. Bryan, rather than actually trying to continue the match, decided to attack all the superstars on the outside of the ring, causing the disturbance.
Now, Bryan has nowhere to hide and nobody to blame but himself.
Over the past number of weeks, every single contest that saw Bryan competing in ended one of two ways:
1. He earns the victory and celebrates like he won the championship all over again, or
2. He snakes his way out of the match, resulting in him retaining the title, still allowing him to act like a child that just earned his favorite toy back.
Bryan has become intolerable, and his ego is growing by the minute. He knows he cannot defeat either Show or Henry in a match cleanly, so he makes sure to find a way to allow him to keep his title.
None of his three title defenses have ended cleanly. They always result in some kind of cheap outcome.
One of the biggest factors of this match has nothing to do with the environment of the steel cage or the men involved in the match at all.
AJ Lee, the very person that Big Show took out by running into her during his match with Bryan, will be the one to cost Show his shot at the world title.
At the Raw after the incident, Bryan cut a promo about Big Show running into AJ, stating that he had time to slow up and ran into her on purpose. He also stated that Show never even apologized for the accident, but he did forget to take into account the stream of tears running down the big man's face as soon as he realized what happened.
Here's how the whole thing is going to play out.
Big Show will be doing an interview in the back before the contest, when he will see AJ, probably in some kind of neck brace or a wheel chair.
Show will begin to apologize for what happened but will be stopped by AJ. AJ will take the opportunity to remind Big Show about the night in question. She'll remind him that before the match, AJ told Daniel that she loved him, and he failed to return the sentiment.
Then she will state that during the previously mentioned promo Daniel said, "last Friday, AJ told me that she loved me, and I appreciated that,"—again, never saying it back.
AJ will conclude by saying that she may have loved him, but it's his fault the accident happened, not Big Shows'. She will then state that she now knows that he doesn't feel the same way because if he did, he would have never put her in harms way like he did.
This will pump up Big Show a little bit more, giving him massive confidence heading into his match.
As the match begins to wind down, all three men will be down on the ground, each looking for a way to exit the cage. By this time, AJ will have made her way to ringside to "support" Big Show.
We will see Big Show crawling towards the door, about to win the match, with Bryan not far behind him. AJ will stand by the door, encouraging Show to crawl faster.
As he's about to win the match, AJ will take the liberty of slamming the door on Big Show's head, knocking him unconscious. This will allow Bryan to escape the cage and reunite with his girlfriend, the World Heavyweight championship.
Oh yes, and he'll also reunite with AJ.
AJ Lee is going to cost Big Show the World Heavyweight Championship, you just didn't know it until now.
