WWE Royal Rumble 2012: Why the Miz Will Pull the Upset and Win the Match
The Royal Rumble is this Sunday in St. Louis. It is the 25th anniversary of the event and its broadcast officially marks the beginning of the road to WrestleMania.
Everything seems to be in place to make this show one of the best we've seen in the last months. There is a WWE championship match, a World Heavyweight championship match and John Cena on the edge of darkness. Let's not forget the big 30-man Rumble which will skyrocket the winner to the main event in Miami on April 1st.
This person will be none other than the Awesome One himself, The Miz.
Nothing is for sure and anything can happen in WWE, even the most unexpected surprises. The former champion has been put on the back burner for months now and it is time for his return to the spotlight.
Look for this year's edition to end in must-see fashion.
First and Foremost: A Rumble Win Is Missing on His Career Sheet
1 of 4The Miz has held many championships in his short career and at one point he held three at a time, a feat that has never been done in WWE. He has been a champion from 2008 right up to May 2011 pretty much non-stop not to mention being a Money in the Bank winner. Very impressive.
WrestleMania XXVII had his face plastered all over the main event as well. Not too many people can say they did all this while barely in their 30s.
One thing remains for him to take a step further into becoming a future Hall of Famer, which I believe he will be in time.
He must win the Royal Rumble match during his career.
From what has been written about the Show of Shows so far, many people believe everything is already in place and in one instance, CM Punk will encounter Chris Jericho for the WWE championship.
Why in the blue hell would WWE Creative become so predictable? Throwing everyone off course would be a much more profitable endeavor and having The Miz as a surprise winner is the way to go.
Imagine all the gloating and all the heat he would gather afterwards. A must-see moment.
No One Gives Him a Chance in Hell in Winning This Thing
2 of 4When you look at the list of participants you will find the following favorites: Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, Wade Barrett, Randy Orton and Sheamus.
All are top-notch Superstars and all are deserving to headline WrestleMania XXVIII.
Where is The Miz in there?
No one really gives him a chance in winning except his real fans. The odds are stacked against him but since he is facing R-Truth on RAW, I expect that feud to be over soon so he can move on to bigger and better things.
Even if he does win on Sunday, it doesn't mean he will make it to the main event. There is a lot of time between now and April 1st and somehow, somewhere, he can get screwed out of his prize.
That's why I think he will win. The Miz will be at WrestleMania. He will be in a great, high-profile match and he will have his little streak go up by one and be 3-0.
Be jealous!
Most Important Reason of All: That's What I Want to Happen
3 of 4You read correctly.
I want The Miz to win. I am a great fan for many reasons and one of which is because he and I share a whole bunch of things in common.
We are winners, we are determined and we share an incredible taste for French-Canadian women who are evergreen lucky charms. No one will deny him the pleasure of being the last man standing because what Miz wants, Miz gets.
He is sneaky and calculating. Just give him an entrance number and he'll show you all who is the man.
Ask yourselves one question: If you would be in his shoes, what would you do in order to win? How could you make it happen?
He's reached the top once before so he knows how to get there. This is another opportunity granted to him so never doubt his resolve.
We all have our picks. Mine is the Awesome One.
Royal Rumble Goes Silver This Year
4 of 4So here you are folks, a few reasons why I believe The Miz will close the Royal Rumble show as the winner of the big match.
Whether he goes to Mania as the challenger or not doesn't matter, he will win. It has been said many times: anything can happen in WWE. This is no exception.
There are so many fine choices to pick from this year. It will be a night long remembered as the Royal Rumble celebrates its silver anniversary. Where will you be on January 29th, 2012?
If you don't agree with me then please share your favorites to win in the comment box below. This is a very interesting time, the road to WrestleMania is about to start.
