Vernon Davis Video: Watch Superstar's Second TD Grab vs. Giants

Vernon Davis keeps burning teams deep. Is it possible he is trying to tell the football world that he is really the best tight end in the NFL, not Rob Gronkowski? If he keeps playing like this, he will help lead his team to a Super Bowl match-up against Gronk and the New England Patriots.

After a 75-yard TD reception in the first quarter, VD grabbed this 28 yard TD pass down the left sidelines. In messy and windy conditions, Davis has shown he is among the elite tight ends in the NFL, if not the best.

On his first TD, he climbed atop a standard behind the end zone, as if it were a throne to make himself more visible to the adoring Niners' fans. In this TD celebration, Davis did some version of the running man, that needed a little work.

If he continues to play like this, he can dance all he wants and no one on the Niners sidelines will complain.

He victimized the Saints with two huge TD catches, and he is doing a pretty nice repeat performance. This time, no tears, unless they're being shed on the Giants' sidelines. If this current score holds, the Niners will head to the Super Bowl.

Going into the fourth quarter, the Niners lead 14-10 in a well played game with no turnovers. Somewhere former 49ers head coach Mike Singletary is saying, "Damn, coulda' won with em."
