Super Bowl Predictions 2012: Stevan Ridley and Each Team's Breakout Candidate
Remember James Starks from Green Bay's magical Super Bowl run last season? Or David Tyree and his miraculous catch with his head against the Patriots in 2008?
Those guys weren't expected to be heroes. Far from it, actually. Starks had 29 career carries before the playoffs last season, and Tyree had four catches during the 07-08 season.
So who will it be this year?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Stevan Ridley, New England Patriots
Ridley has been used a little more than Starks or Tyree were, but he's fumbled in his last two games so he's starting to lose trust with Bill Belichick.
What's more, he's inactive today for the AFC Championship.
Still, Ridley is far more explosive than BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and if the Pats make the Super Bowl, they will be desperate for a change of pace.
On the season, Ridley averaged 5.3 yards per carry while the Law Firm averaged a pathetic 3.7.
Belichick was starting to realize Ridley's worth at the end of the season, but he inexplicably went back to the man with four names against the Broncos last week.
I bet he comes back to his senses with Ridley on Super Bowl Sunday.
Ted Ginn, San Francisco 49ers
Ginn has just 19 catches on the season, but he's had much more of an impact in the return game.
If Ginn gets just a tiny bit of space, he has the breakaway speed to take it to the house, even though he hasn't found the endzone since he did it twice against Seattle in Week 1.
Don't be surprised if 49ers fans are celebrating with Ginn and Juice on Super Bowl Sunday.
DJ Ware, New York Giants
Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs are healthy and that means Ware won't get a ton of opportunities, but stay with me here.
If New York goes up against the Ravens in the Super Bowl, Eli will face lots of pressure and have to get it out quick. That means lots of work for running backs and tight ends.
Ware is easily the best pass-catching running back New York has, and he could easily do his best impression of Darren Sproles if called upon.
Lee Evans, Baltimore Ravens
The big acquisition for the Ravens has been nearly invisible this season, as injuries limited him to just four catches all season.
He's behind Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith now, but he's ready to make his impact felt. Joe Flacco will need all the weapons he can get, and don't be surprised if the now-healthy Evans has a big game.
