WWE: Could Eve Turn on Zack Ryder and Join Kane?

Personally, I love a great love story. Tully Blanchard and Baby Doll. Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Lita and well, many.

But the current "love story" between Zack Ryder (Woo! Woo! Woo!) and Eve has me gagging at every scene on camera. the poor acting, the obvious bad karma from this union and the connection it may have to Kane.

While the John Cena/Kane saga continues, which is really good for the WWE and RAW, it also has a direct effect on "Long Island Iced Z" and his new love interest.

For months, we saw Eve and her "BFF" Kelly Kelly battle the likes of Natalya, the Bella Twins and Beth Phoenix. But what we really wanted to see was some heel turn with either Eve or the blond beauty. It never happened in matches between the two of them.

But now, this could be time for redemption.

Once Kane and Cena battle at the Royal Rumble, there will be a need for Kane to find another wrestler to attack (personally, I would love to see him battle Sheamus), and well, John Cena will be preparing for his "destiny" with The Rock.

I know, we are so "excited" about something one year in the making and losing interest by the day.

Ryder and Kane are a good angle to help the youngster "get over" and challenge again for the United States Championship or even take a crack at the WWE Title. Fighting over the honor of a woman helps the angle even more. Kane, in a sick, sadistic angle, battled Matt Hardy over the affections of Lita.

Put that down as one of the more bizarre wrestling angles in history.

Does Eve "see the light" and make the "turn" and side with the Big Red Machine?

Personally, I think it works. Eve needs another storyline that would give her more exposure. The Divas Division is boring and we see the same shtick every week. Seeing a Diva change her stripes while dealing with a love interest is actually pretty cool and trendy.

And if nothing else, it helps push Ryder toward the top again. But also gets us free and clear of possible awful love story that just makes us want to turn the channel on Monday nights.
