WWE Raw Preview: Kane/John Cena, Zack Ryder, Perez Hilton and More

Kyle SchadlerJan 15, 2012

Tonight WWE presents another new episode of Monday Night Raw.

As we enter into the third week of 2012 what does WWE have in store for the fans?

Nothing solid as usual, but the fans come to expect that from WWE.

The company has only confirmed one thing for the show so far, and it’s something the fans could probably care less about.

Due to the events last week, though, there are a few things we must consider going into the show.

Perez Hilton to be a Special Guest Announcer

Here we have the thing that the fans could probably care less about.

Celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton will be making a special appearance on Monday Night Raw to be the guest announcer during a Diva’s match.

Odds are the fans will be seeing a six-Diva tag-team match featuring Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and Eve Torres, all who write a column for his website.

I have to ask WWE: Why should I care?

What is the Status of Zack Ryder and his Title Defense Against Jack Swagger?

Two weeks ago Kane vowed that he would get John Cena to embrace the hate.

His plan was to kill Zack Ryder by blowing him up under the ring. Cena was able to rescue Ryder so Kane’s plan had failed.

Last week after the referee made a bad call in the CM Punk/Jack Swagger match, interim general manager John Laurinaitis gave Swagger a shot at Ryder’s United States Championship.

That title shot may never happen as Kane continued his plan and ended up chokeslamming the Long Island Iced Z off of a loading dock and onto the ground.

According to this article on WWE.com, Zack Ryder sustained serious injuries due to the attack and may not be able to make it Raw.

Will Zack Ryder be able to defend his title as scheduled? Will John Laurinaitis decide to strip him of the title and award it to Jack Swagger?

Can the Miz Finally Stop R-Truth?

Since R-Truth’s return, he has been beating down the Miz. The once “Must see WWE champion in history” has been taken down many pegs by his former partner in crime.

Last week the Miz tried to get the jump on Truth with a distraction from Ricardo Rodriguez, but Truth ended up surprising the Miz and the former WWE champion ran off.

In an exclusive video from WWE.com, the Miz said he was tired of R-Truth and that it was his turn to “get got.”

What does the Miz have in store for R-Truth? Can Little Jimmy once again get the better of Miz?

What’s the Deal with Chris Jericho?

The “It Begins” mystery was solved on the first Monday Night Raw of 2012 two weeks ago when Chris Jericho made his return to the WWE.

After 10 minutes of running around and jumping up and down in the ring, he left without saying a single word.

Last week, WWE advertised that Jericho would address his return. When he got in the ring, he once again didn’t speak but something else happened.

The WWE Grand Slam Champion started to cry in the middle of the ring and walked out of the arena.

Will Chris Jericho appear on Raw tonight? If so, what will he do next?

Is it Time for John Cena to Embrace the Hate?

Kane surprised the WWE Universe when he returned to attack John Cena instead of the man who took him out months ago, Mark Henry.

Kane soon revealed that he was after Cena because the face of the WWE needed to embrace all of the hate that was directed towards him.

Two weeks ago Kane decided to go after Cena’s friend Zack Ryder. While he failed in blowing him up, last week he succeeded in taking out the Long Island Iced Z.

Is it time for John Cena to give in?

If Cena once again refuses, who will Kane’s next target be?

If last week is any indication, Eve Torres could very well be in Kane’s sights.

Like always, Monday Night Raw is looking like a good show.

Will it be? Tune in tonight to find out!
