WWE: How Miz vs R-Truth Could Be the Next Hottest Feud

It has a chance to be the best feud since Tommy "Wildfire Rich" and "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer.

If ever there was "hatred" between two wrestlers, it appears The Miz and R-Truth are headed down a path of destruction, something that does not often happen in this era of wrestling with the sense of Kayfabe flying out the window like a quick burst of wind.

But this feud could be "special."

You get the idea that, for all the problems with injuries, poorly written scripts and lack of a true heel, the WWE creative team are trying to go back to the roots of "face" and "heel" with this one and write the angle so there are some hot moments that can lead to more confrontation and more in-ring action.

We saw some of this with Randy Orton and Christian, and then again with John Cena and CM Punk.

The Miz and R-Truth are just a notch below that, but still have the ability to take their fund to another level.

Because both have "heel" qualities, there is the likelihood there would be residual from past battles, confrontations and of course, jealousy over one another. The Miz and R-Truth have egos that allow themselves to be caught in the moment, the split second thinking that they are the best at what they do and that makes for higher stakes, more drama and more fan attention.

Fans want to see CM Punk and Chris Jericho or John Cena and Kane and the Undertaker. But a well-placed feud between these two is a sample of the success in the WWE and the fans in the WWE Universe appreciate the importance of this feud as a possible rise in the ranks toward the WWE Title.

What we won't see from these two is a lot of banter. They will fight, much like The Rock and Mankind fought. They will brawl, much like Greg Valentine and Roddy Piper brawled. They will entertain, much like John Cena entertained and most of all, they will prove to be one of the better angles in wrestling for 2012.
