LeBron James Video: Watch King James Throw Down Thunderous Alley-Oop

Lob City is a real place, but the Los Angeles Clippers aren't the only team that lives there. Other teams and other players are free to come and go as they please.

For example, Miami Heat superstar LeBron James paid a visit on Wednesday night, throwing down a ginormous dunk on an alley-oop against the Clippers at the Staples Center.

If you missed it, open your eyes, direct them to the above video clip, and click play. Do that, and you will un-miss it.

What you'll see is Mario Chalmers come away with a loose ball, push it up the floor, then let loose a lob pass in King James' general direction.

LeBron caught the ball with one hand and slammed it down. I'm pretty sure an actual exclamation mark appeared and hovered in midair for a few moments, like something you might see in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

Not too long before LeBron's trip to Lob City, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin paid their own visit to Lob City's hallowed grounds.

Evidently, LeBron wanted to show them how things are done. At least, such is the theory that I'm working with.

I suppose it's possible that King James just felt like dunking the basketball at that particular moment.

At any rate, the Heat exited the first quarter with a 24-21 lead, and took a 48-43 lead into the half. After dropping a heartbreaker in Oakland on Tuesday night, the Heat seem to be back to their old selves.

Then again, that could easily entail a fourth quarter collapse. Stay tuned.
