Blake Griffin Video: Watch Chris Paul and Blake Take Heat to Lob City

The Los Angeles Clippers did what they do best against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night: They went to Lob City.

This particular trip to Lob City involved two usual suspects. Chris Paul set it up, and Blake Griffin knocked it down. And it was glorious.

If you missed it, by all means feel free to live it in the above video clip. You'll see CP3 grab a rebound, calmly take it up the floor and then unleash an alley-oop pass to Griffin, who slams it home over Heat guard Mario Chalmers.

It's not the best alley-oop yours truly has ever seen, but it was pretty sweet. The only thing that would have made it any sweeter is it was over LeBron James. Or Chris Bosh. Or both.

Yeah, both would have been pretty sweet.

It's just too bad alley-oops don't win games. I've got the game on directly to my left, and the Heat just closed out the first quarter with a 24-21 lead. In the battle between the two most explosive teams in the NBA, the Heat have the upper hand.

But don't worry, Clippers fans. The Heat are bound to choke in the fourth quarter and let the Clippers back into the game. The Clippers basically have them right where they want 'em, a la the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.

If that fails, I'm sure the Clippers will get another shot at the Heat in the Finals. After all, that's where they're supposed to go this year, right?
