This is not Dominguez's first stint in the majors. He was a September call-up in the 2023 season and would play in eight games, hitting .258/.303/.677 with four home runs and seven RBIs.
The 21-year-old suffered a torn UCL that would end his 2023 season and kept him out for the start of the 2024 season. He has played in the minors thus far in 2024 but has been solid at the plate.
He is hitting .298/.365/.477 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs across three levels in 2024, and he could potentially see the field in the Little League Classic.
