WWE 1/2/12 Promos: Chris Jericho Makes Shocking Return to RAW

He’s baaaaaack.

The WWE was hyping a special 1/2/12 announcement for the past six weeks, and boy, did it disappoint.

Chris Jericho is back, and he really dropped the ball on his return to WWE. What did he do?

Nothing at all.

Jericho emerged on stage to an incredible ovation and proceeded to parade around the ring with the biggest smile on his face. It was borderline creepy.

The Memphis Tennessee crowd was beside themselves as Y2J paraded around the ring like he was a school girl that just got asked to the prom. At one point, I think he actually skipped. For some reason, the crowd couldn’t get enough of it.

What made this bizarre event even weirder was the jacket Jericho was sporting. It had LED lights on it that were blinking in a bright blue shade. He looked beyond stupid.

Jericho was one of the rumored wrestlers to return, but I thought it was going to be Undertaker. Jericho had been on Twitter with sarcastic comments about who the mystery man was going to be which led me to believe it was going to be somebody else.  

Yet, as Monday Night RAW drew closer, Jericho was spotted at a Memphis airport, and the secret was pretty much out of the bag. So in other words, the hype for this was way too much for what fans were given.

Jericho is never going to get back to his previous level of dominance and is nothing but a side show. With the way he pranced around in and outside of the ring on Monday night, he’s off to a good start.
