WWE: 7 Opponents for Daniel Bryan's World Title

Now that Daniel Bryan has finally cashed in the MITB, he is the World Heavyweight Champion.

However, title victories always come at a price.

For every person who captures a championship, there are another 10 who wish to challenge them.

Daniel Bryan has a lot in store for him on SmackDown, but today I am going to give seven opponents we could see Daniel Bryan face as world champion.

This list is based on current WWE storylines and the product as a whole.

Big Show

On Smackdown this week, Theodore Long announced next week's main event will be Big Show vs. Daniel Bryan for the world championship.

With that being said, both of these men are currently faces. I do not see this being a full blown feud unless one of them turns heel in the near future.

My bet is Big Show will lose next week's match and turn heel.

Mark Henry

Mark Henry may be out of action right now, but that doesn't mean it is the last we've seen of him.

Mark Henry reigned supreme over SmackDown for the last half of this year.

When he returns, I think he will try and recapture his lost championship from Daniel Bryan.

Wade Barrett

Now that Wade Barrett has nobody to feud with, it may make sense to push him into the title picture.

Bryan and Barrett have a lot of history together and it could be a great feud.

Cody Rhodes

This past fall, many fans believed WWE was going to use Orton as a way to get Rhodes into the title picture.

Well, it's almost January and it seems like WWE creative has nothing better to do then to stick him in a feud with Booker T and Goldust.

Rhodes vs. Bryan would be a fresh feud that gives both of these stars the push that they need.

Christian

While this option is the least likely to have happen, it has the potential to be a five star feud.

Christian could return as a heel, and demand his "one more match".

Bryan, thinking he can beat Christian will except the challenge.

Then finally, when they have their match, Christian will cheat his way into winning the world title.

Boom. Instant feud.

Sheamus

Not that Orton is on the shelf, WWE may take this opportunity to make Sheamus the #1 baby face on Smackdown.

When Orton joined the Smackdown roster after the WWE Draft, he went to Smackdown and immediately captured the world title from Christian.

If Sheamus was inserted into the title picture, I could easily see him winning causing a Bryan heel turn.

Randy Orton

What is the easiest way to make Randy Orton relevant again when he returns?

Easy, give him the world title!

With Wrestlemania 28 coming up in a few months, WWE creative may want Randy Orton back in the title picture.
