Brock Lesnar Retires: What Does This Mean for His WWE Future?
Brock Lesnar’s exploration into the MMA field was in effort to legitimize the stars real-life physical gifts and distance himself from his stint with the WWE.
After another tough loss, it’s time for the superstar to come home to the WWE Universe.
While the idea of being on the road again and taking the regular bumps sounds like a complete nightmare for most people, Lesnar isn’t most people. This is a man who has battled through a disease in diverticulitis that has destroyed his MMA career and come out smiling.

As good as a return to the world of sports entertainment would be for Lesnar, the move wouldn’t come without some serious concerns about Lesnar’s long-term health and how dedicated he would be to the WWE.
There are many who feel Lesnar’s return to the WWE won’t be as anticipated after a second straight mediocre loss, one of which is Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
"Losing hurts his marketability. He's not coming home as the conquering hero, not the super hero who won a UFC championship, and he won't draw like he would if he was coming from winning a title. Vince is going to change the offer. He was worth umpteen times more [with a belt] than coming off these last two losses here. Yes, he's still a star, but he lost two straight fights in two minutes. Every pro wrestling fan knows what happened here.
"
While the Meltz (as I call him in my own little world) is absolutely right in his point, the WWE doesn’t have much star power right now. A Lesnar return would instantly boost ratings and he would become the same kind of dominant force he was before he left the WWE.
Imagine letting Lesnar feud with John Cena or even having the four–time WWE Champion square off against The Undertaker for his return at WrestleMania and do what he does best nowadays: lose.
As a conspiracy theorist myself, the best one I have come up with for this whole Lesnar fiasco is that it will be Brock returning to WWE on Monday Night Raw and that the Vignettes we have been seeing are for his return.
The woman? His wife, Sable, of course!
It’s clear that Lesnar’s MMA career is and should be over. It was a good run, but it didn’t last.
The great part of wrestling for the WWE is that Brock won’t have to worry about getting hit in the face like he was in UFC. They pull their punches in pro wrestling.
