DeAndre Jordan Video: Watch Jordan Go to Lob City vs. Bulls
It's a good thing alley-oops exist. Otherwise the Los Angeles Clippers would be an absolute bore to watch.
Thankfully, the Clippers are quite good at executing alley-oops.
They were nice enough to demonstrate that again on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls. DeAndre Jordan and Caron Butler did the honors this time, as they hooked up on a thunderous alley-oop about midway through the first quarter.
If you missed it, please feel free to watch it above. In it, you'll see Jordan get up, and then throw down on a lob from Butler on a fast break.
Plays like this aren't going to put the Clippers in the finals, but I'll be damned if they don't make things interesting. And I have to say, it's refreshing every time we get a Clippers highlight that doesn't feature Blake Griffin doing something awesome.
It's especially cool to see Jordan getting in on the fun. He hasn't been involved on the offensive end of the floor much this season, scoring just 14 points in the Clippers' first two games.
The Clippers have gotten the bulk of their points from Griffin, Chauncey Billups and Chris Paul. They have been perfectly content to let Jordan do work on the other end of the floor.
Fortunately for them, Jordan has been happy to oblige. He had a staggering eight blocks on Christmas Day against the Golden State Warriors. A figure like that is not exactly par for the course, but not out of the question either.
Hopefully, Jordan can keep it up. After all, the Clippers are paying him quite a bit all of a sudden.
