NFL Week 17: Hashtags That Will Trend in Every Game This Week
The final week of the regular season of the National Football League is upon us, and whilst sad on the outside, the fact that the playoffs are just around the corner makes us feel all that little bit better.
With huge games this week involving draft and playoff implications, Twitter is set to explode once again as our minds explode with big plays and our brains implode at refereeing decisions.
If you're not on Twitter, then you should be. If you are, then here's your hashtags for every game this week that will be sure to trend.
Detroit Lions at Green Bay Packers
1 of 16With everything all sewn up for the Packers and the Lions desperately trying to avoid a trip to the Superdome, expect the Lions to get past a second-string Green Bay unit.
Even with the Lions winning, all everyone will be talking about is how good Rodgers is.
#AaronRodgers, #MattFlynn
Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans
2 of 16Houston have been woeful in recent weeks. Come to think of it, so have Tennessee. I'm not sold on Hasselbeck, and this game, in my mind, is going to be the lowest-scoring, lowest-quality match of the week.
Expect Arian Foster to be the only good thing for the Texans in this one, and should be good for the first touchdown as well.
#ArianFoster, #woeful, #MattSchaub
Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars
3 of 16Indy are so close to Andrew Luck and Blaine Gabbert is so close to the end of the season.
After proving they can still win without Manning, the Colts need to make sure Luck doesn't disappear off to St. Louis or Minnesota, and they'll be sure to go down in this one.
Blaine Gabbert still doesn't play a whole lot better, and if it wasn't for Maurice Jones-Drew against the Colts running defense, the Jaguars could have got pummelled.
Still, they'll get home on a late Jones-Drew touchdown.

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins
4 of 16With the Jets needing a win and some other results to go their way to make the playoffs, expect them to come out fired up. Also expect the Dolphins to struggle without Reggie Bush, who has been by far the player of the season. That's no disrespect to Matt Moore either, who I am always probably a little bit tough on.
I am, however, not too tough on Sanchez who is arguably the most fragile player in the league. Matches it with Brady one week; dismal the next.
He's thrown more games away in 2011 than Tony Romo and Philip Rivers combined, so expect the disappointment to continue as the Dolphins finish the season strongly at home.
#MarkSanchez, #disappointment, #picksix
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
5 of 16With the Vikings doing all they can to keep their hopes of Andrew Luck alive, expect the Bears to post a sneaky road win here.
Jared Allen will have a field day against the Bears' offensive line, but their offense will still be better than that of the Vikings.
Gosh the Bears missed Cutler and Forte. And they missed the playoffs because of it. They're good enough with them, so expect them to be too good for Minnesota here.

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
6 of 16The Patriots don't make many mistakes and they definitely don't do it at home, with the No. 1 AFC seed on the line.
New England will record a huge win, as Brady stays on the field long enough to also pass Marino's record and make Drew Brees just worry a little bit about losing the record.

Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
7 of 16We all know that Brees broke the record, but just how high he goes remains questionable.
Sean Peyton will rest players late, but if Brady is on fire, expect Brees to hang around out there. And considering the No. 2 seed isn't out of reach just yet, the Saints will build a big lead before pulling everyone off late, letting Cam score a touchdown or two, and win by a field goal.

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles
8 of 16If watching the Eagles play is frustrating, then watching the Redskins play has been embarrassing. I mean, at least Philly can turn it on when they need to.
And at home, trying desperately to prove to their fans that their team is not a waste of talent, expect them to play to their full potential, and the defense to have one of their best games of the year.
The only thing Washington have going for them is the fact that when they lose, Robert Griffin III might just be heading their way.

San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams
9 of 16You've got one team playing for a chance at Andrew Luck, and the other playing for the No. 2 spot in the NFC.
I think this one stays not a blowout, because the 49ers guys don't need to play the second half after the game is won.
Not a lot of energy in this game, but watching Frank Gore is always fun.

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
10 of 16While Arizona have been remarkably solid at home this year, even with Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, you don't want to be playing Marshawn Lynch after the NFL fined him $10K for wearing Skittle cleats.
Like, really don't want to be playing him.
Expect the Beast to take the Seahawks to an even record, which is better than last year, and this year has been a stronger division. Tarvaris Jackson won't have fun though against the Arizona corners who have impressed this year.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons
11 of 16Whine all you like Falcons, you got hammered.
And because of that, expect them to do the same to the hapless Bucs, who under Freeman have been my biggest disappointment of the year.
Matt Ryan is getting better every year, and an angry side of Ryan is a side I've never really seen before.
And I don't like the unknown.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
12 of 16Joe Flacco is due for a good game soon, but it's still another week away.
Dalton is the better QB, with a side all to play for. Whilst Lewis and the gang may claim the divisional title means nothing, it does, and they'll hurt after they lose it here.
A.J. Green could have a field day against those corners.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns
13 of 16After a big win without Ben, expect the Steelers to be too strong again here, as the defense really hits its strides coming in to the playoffs.
And with a Ravens loss, the division is theirs, as is the No. 2 seed, and how sweet it will feel to be the Steelers after this one.

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
14 of 16After streaking away, the Broncos are now in trouble of missing the playoffs. Tebow needs a win to restore the faithful, and he'll have to do it against none other than the guy he replaced, Kyle Orton.
I'm with Orton in this one. Don't know why. Just think Romo Crennel is creative enough on the back of Orton and the defense to win this. And I think the Chiefs show the Packers game wasn't a fluke and that this division truly is evenly matched.

San Diego Chargers at Oakland Raiders
15 of 16After the Chargers got belted by the Detroit Lions last week, and lost their slim playoff hopes in the process, expect Philip Rivers and the gang to finish strongly.
It's a custom that we're getting used to from the Chargers—their late season runs that fall just short of the playoffs. For Oakland, on the other hand, their season was hard from the moment Jason Campbell was out.
And when Darren McFadden got injured, things just got too hard to win. Al Davis would still be proud this year though, as the Raiders almost snuck in to the playoffs.
Norv Turner will want to make sure San Diego Chargers finish on a winning note. Probably just for his own sake, though.

Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants
16 of 16And it all comes down to this: Eli Manning with the home crowd against the Dallas Cowboys and their heart.
However, they do have Tony Romo and his fickle nature makes him not that appealing coming into this one. Take the home team as the Giants sail into the playoffs.
