WWE Hell in a Cell 2022: Live Stream, Peacock Start Time and Match Card

Doc-Chris MuellerJun 5, 2022

Sunday's Hell in a Cell pay-per-view is considered one of WWE's second-tier events, but it's still surprising to a lot of fans that only one match was booked to take place inside the cell.

Not only are we only getting one HIAC bout, but this will be the second major show in a row that does not feature a title defense by Roman Reigns.

WWE can always make a last-minute addition to the card, but as of Sunday morning, the lineup still had seven matches listed.

Let's take a look at everything you need to know about Sunday's Hell in a Cell event.

Other Hell in a Cell Thoughts

4 of 4

Not having a men's world title match on the card for the second month in a row is definitely going to make HIAC fell a lot less important than it has in past years, but there is still hope that it can be good.

Asuka, Lynch and Belair will almost certainly have a great match. Rhodes vs. Rollins inside the cell will be fun, and somehow Kevin Owens and Ezekiel have made their ridiculous storyline work.

With no world title, WWE has a chance to make the U.S. Championship feel important, especially if Ali is able to score the win and take the title from Theory. After everything that happened to cause Ali to publicly request his release, it would be satisfying for a lot of his fans to see him win gold Sunday.

Judgment Day has been getting a mixed response from the WWE Universe on social media, but the match with Balor, Styles and Morgan has a high probability of being one of the best bouts of the night.

WWE has a tendency to deliver with PPVs that have a weak buildup, so hopefully Sunday's show gives us plenty to enjoy.
