Florida State Football Video: Watch Rashad Greene's Miracle Reception

Here is something you have to see to believe—and even then you may not agree with it. 

The Florida State Seminoles and Notre Dame Fighting Irish met in an ugly Champs Sports Bowl on Thursday.

Offense had to be savored, as fumbles and bumbles were the norm in this game. 

One instance of insane offensive prowess occurred in the fourth quarter with the game on the line. That's when Rashad Greene caught a ball while scooting down the field on his back. 

With Florida State clinging to a 15-14 lead, a field goal was necessary to keep the momentum going at 9:22 in the fourth quarter. Greene managed to keep the Seminoles rolling and caused some controversy along the way. 

As you can plainly see, Greene gets hit in the numbers as he tumbles to the ground. You can then plainly see that the ball gets bumped from his hands and gets loose. 

After that, the rest is open for conjecture and scrutiny; you just have to love reviewing plays like this.

The catch stood, and I am only semi-confident that it should have. 

Let me first say that Greene does an amazing job of controlling the ball as he is thrown to the ground and nearly trampled on. For that, I give him a brief golf clap and a smile. 

But I have to agree with the announcers, who point out that his shoulder is riding mighty close to the sideline in this reception. 

Now, I will admit that I am picking nits with that assumption, and the catch can hardly be overturned for such things. What we are left with is an amazing show of concentration and athleticism—and that is what bowl season is all about.
