OVERALL

Mykael Wright is a fluid athlete with quick feet and the versatility to play both the slot and out wide. He shows to have the vision and awareness to excel in zone coverage.

Wright often plays with the appropriate leverage and position to see all threats in his zone. Though he lacks desired speed at times, he has good awareness of when to open and run. He plays with good tempo in his pedal, showing average ball skills where he doesn't panic and stays calm with the ball in the air. He has the ability to play with the hands of the receiver and fight through the reception point.

Wright lacks strength, which can lead to issues in the run game. He struggles to get off blocks or secure the tackle in the open field at times.

Wright has below-average route recognition, where he often unnecessarily squats and guesses on routes. Along with his poor eyes, that can lead to him being out of position.

Wright is a high-level backup who could turn into a limited starter in the NFL with time.
