UFC 141: Tracking the Physique of Brock Lesnar

Tim McTiernanDec 28, 2011

On Friday, Brock Lesnar makes his return to the Octagon, as he will face off against the UFC newcomer, Alistair Overeem.

Many fans have become familiar with the ad for WWE 12 featuring Lesnar, in which he looked slimmer and not the hulking behemoth we all know.

However, at a press conference promoting UFC 141, Lesnar looked big once again, and claimed to be right back up to normal size.

Lesnar has been an athlete for a long time, and his physique has changed throughout the years.

Let's take a look and follow the physique of Brock through the years.

Baby Brock

Even as a child, Brock Lesnar was a big kid.

It's been rumored that, as an infant, Lesnar was able to take down a fully grown cow, and thus his love of wrestling was born.

College Brock

This was back when Brock was wrestling at the University of Minnesota.

I would not want to stand across the mat from this guy before a match.

WWE Brock

You can see that he visibly packed on more muscle between his college days and when he joined the WWE.

His arms, lats and chest are bigger, and his neck is significantly bigger as well.

He also has a new tattoo on his right arm.

In Brock's MMA debut, he fought Min-Soo Kim at Dynamite!! USA.

Although it's not totally plain to see, he looks less ripped than his WWE days.

The Infamous Ad

Brock Lesnar appeared in an ad for WWE '12, and fans were surprised to see his physique.

Look at his shoulders and neck. It doesn't look like the 265 pound behemoth we've all come to know and love—or hate.

Fans instantly wondered if we would see a slimmed down Lesnar the next time he got in the Octagon.

Brock vs. Alistair Overeem

It was quickly dispelled that Lesnar was any smaller, and at a press conference for UFC 141, Lesnar looked like his normal self.

In fact, Lesnar even said that he was over 270 pounds when asked by a reporter.

How Will He Look and What Will He Weigh on Thursday?

If Lesnar was telling the truth at the press conference, then he will likely still weigh in at 265 pounds. However, we won't know until he steps on the scales at the official weigh-ins on Thursday.

Either way, his fight with Overeem will be one of the biggest in UFC history.
