Christian Ponder Injury: Updates on Vikings QB's Week 17 Status & Fantasy Value
The Vikings were hit with a few key injuries on consecutive plays during Saturday's win vs. the Redskins. One was the Adrian Peterson. He suffered a torn ACL and MCL and will be out until next season.
The other injury was to quarterback Christian Ponder. He suffered a concussion early in the second half and was knocked out of action for the remainder of the game.
USA Today lists him as questionable on the Vikings' injury report for Sunday's finale vs. the Bears.

UPDATE: Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 12:12 p.m. EST
According to Tom Pelissero, Ponder was in practice for the Vikings on Wednesday.
While he's not the biggest name, Ponder is not a terrible fantasy play this week, assuming that your league is still in action. In a cold weather week, the Vikings are in a dome, which is a big bonus.
Additionally, in the final week of the season, quarterbacks around the league tend to play limited minutes. With Adrian Peterson out, the Vikings will likely be throwing it a little more. This is not a bad sleeper play.
