WWE Raw Live Updates, Results, Highlights of Roman Reigns' Return, Penta vs. Bron Breakker and More

Dominik Mysterio accompanied JD McDonagh to the ring for his match against Joe Hendry.

We returned to see Roxanne in control, but Sky blocked a moonsault with her knees. Raquel tagged in but was hit with a jawbreaker. She kicked Rodriguez in the head before jumping to tag Green, who was pulled off the apron by Roxy a split second earlier.

Sky finally managed to create some space as Green got back on the apron. Perez and Green both tagged in at the same time. The WWE champion had the upper hand with a few arm drags and kicks.

Morgan tripped Green on the top rope while the ref was distracted. She avoided a superplex from Raquel and took out Liv and Roxy with a diving crossbody to the floor. Iyo tagged in and hit a hurricanrana to get the pin on Rodriguez.

WINNERS: CHELSEA GREEN AND IYO SKY

Chelsea Green took a trip from SmackDown to team up with Iyo Sky in a tag match against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Backstage, Reigns was shown getting into his SUV and leaving the arena.

Roxy and Iyo started for their teams with a lockup into a few holds and counters. The Prodigy was trying to outwrestle Sky, but The Genius of the Sky fought back. Perez slapped her in the face, so Sky took her down with a dropkick.

Green tagged in for a quick double-team spot, and she blew a kiss at Liv Morgan to taunt her. Green made the mistake of slapping Rodriguez, so the powerhouse wrecked her with a clothesline.

Chelsea made a desperate tag to Iyo, who took Raquel down with a few quick moves. She hit a missile dropkick and popped the crowd with her taunt, but taking so long allowed Rodriguez to recover.

She picked Iyo up and swung her into the barricade before tossing her aside to send us into the break.

We returned from the break to see Penta diving off the top rope with a crossbody for a two-count. Breakker tried to bully the luchador, but all it did was make Penta fight harder.

Mr. MITB started building up a head of steam with a series of quick moves, but he failed to get the pin with the pendulum dropkick. Bron recovered and hit a nice Frankensteiner from the top rope for a near-fall.

Maxxine Dupri and Austin Theory showed up to distract Penta as he was setting up for the finish. He tried to fight them off, but Breakker cut him in half with a Spear for a close two-count.

Je'Von Evans stopped Theory from giving Breakker the MITB briefcase, and then he used it against Breakker to set up Penta for the Mexican Destroyer and the win.

WINNER: PENTA

As The OTC was leaving, Penta made his way to the ring for his scheduled match against Bron Breakker, but everyone was wondering whether he would choose to cash in his title shot right then and there.

Penta tried to be aggressive right out of the gate and went after Breakker, but the powerhouse quickly threw him with a German suplex. He got a running start and leveled Penta with a clothesline.

The Unpredictable Badass kept the pace slow and hit a few power moves before Mr. MITB started to fight back. Breakker tackled him and beat him into the mat, but Penta didn't stay down long. He caught Breakker with a backstabber in the corner, followed by a springboard clothesline.

Breakker was clearly supposed to catch Penta in a dive, but he was unable to keep his balance, so they sold it like Penta was successful. Bron took control and dropped him on the announce table.

Zayn looked pleasantly surprised to receive a warm welcome from the San Diego crowd. He barely had time to get his catchphrase out before Reigns' music hit.

Roman shocked Sami when he said it was good to see him, and the two shared a hug. Zayn said everything Reigns said about the burden of being the champion was true. They bonded over the hardships of being the champions.

Reigns said he has an opportunity for Zayn and mentioned 946. Sami said he has his own issues to worry about on SmackDown. Reigns tried to big-time him by saying his title is more important, so Zayn reminded him that it used to be the other way around.

Zayn said the most insulting thing is that Reigns appears to be overlooking their match at Crown Jewel. Reigns said Zayn might not even have the belt by Crown Jewel before walking away.

WWE Raw is officially on the air. The show opened with some shots of San Diego before heading inside the arena. After a recap of what happened last week with 946, we saw Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn arrive at the arena at the same time.

Reigns looked confused to see Zayn. When we went into the arena, Zayn made his entrance.
