Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens NFL Week 6 Live Updates, Highlights and Analysis

Gary DavenportOct 18, 2026, updated 9 min ago

It's a stretch to call a Week 6 game for a 3-2 team a "must-win." But after an ugly performance last week in New York, the Cleveland Browns badly need to bounce back if they want to be taken seriously in the AFC North race.

With a victory on Sunday over the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns would move into first place in the division. Lose for the second straight week, and the rumblings will grow louder that these Dawgs are more pug than pitbull.

It's an important contest for Cleveland. And we'll be with you from the opening kickoff to the final whistle, with highlights, commentary and hopefully some smack talk after a Browns win.

De-Fense!

Baltimore Ravens v Cleveland Browns

After a shaky start, Cleveland's defense has settled in--the Browns force a three-and-out and get the ball back.

A really good defense wasted on a team that can't move the ball.

That hasn't happened in Cleveland since 2025.

Nothing Working

Ravens Browns Football

The Browns can't generate any offense.

The team has seven carries for 22 yards on the ground and all of 10 passing yards. No one is open downfield.

At least the punter is staying busy.

Hey! A Punt!

The Ravens stopped themselves as much as the Browns did, but even when Cleveland wins they lose--excellent special teams by Baltimore pins Cleveland inside their own five-yard line.

Hail to the King

After one quarter, Derrick Henry has 41 rushing yards and is averaging over five yards a pop.

If that continues, the next three quarters will be uglier than the first one.

Um, Yeah

Two offensive series. Eight plays. One first down.

The Browns have been out-gained 96-7 so far.

Guys. The. Game. Started.

I feel like no one listens to me.

Ravens 10, Browns 0

A defensive breakdown and a roughing the passer flag put the Ravens in the red zone one play into their second drive. But the Cleveland defense stiffened, forcing a short Tyler Loop field goal.

Now if someone would just tell the offense that the game started.

Sack Attack

Calais Campbell has had an outstanding NFL career.

But this was just mean.

Three and out for the Browns. Ravens back on offense.

What time do the Guardians play again?

Ravens 7, Browns 0

11 plays, 66 yards, almost seven minutes off the clock and not much in the way of resistance from the Cleveland defense.

Pretty much the exact opposite of the start Cleveland wanted.

Injury Update

It's far from ideal to lose a veteran leader like safety Grant Delpit on the first drive of the game--especially considering Cleveland's lack of depth on the back end.

Three Keys

Ravens Browns Football

The Browns need to do the following to win in Week 6.

Balance on Offense - Running the ball has been an issue all season long for the Browns, but they have to try--having Deshuan Watson drop back 45 times is no bueno.

Contain the King - Derrick Henry is going to get his, but the more the Browns make Tyler Huntley throw the ball the better.

Eliminate Mistakes - Turnovers and penalties against a team like the Ravens will get you beat.

Injury Report

Quinshon Judkins tried to give it a go in pre-game workouts, but the sprained ankle he sustained last week will sideline the second-year back in Week 6.

Jaleel McLaughlin will start for the Browns at running back, while Audric Estime will mix in.

On defense, the Browns will have linebacker Carson Schwesinger--good news headed into a matchup with Derrick Henry. But defensive tackle Mason Graham will miss a third straight contest.

No Lamar Jackson (ankle) for the Ravens--Tyler Huntley will draw a second straight start under center.
