The Worst Case Scenario: Baseball's Future
Alright, here we go.
I want you to take a moment to think. Think about baseball. Think about why you like baseball. The atmosphere, the way it's played, rivalries, the representation of your hometown/city, whatever.
Now, think about this.

10 Scorching MLB Takes 🌶️

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
What if the MLB turned into a worldwide baseball league. There would be no more Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Rockies, Giants, Dodgers, Angels, or any team. It would plainly be TEAM USA.
Think about it even further.
No more having rivalries between teams, heckling out to your neighbor that their teams are far inferior to your's. It would be almost impossible to go to games in the United States, considering one team = one stadium/only plays in your area once a year. No more trades, free agency, or ownership.
Use the World Baseball Classic as an example.
Do you actually CARE who wins? Yes, it would be cool to see Team USA win, but if Puerto Rico wins, I'm sure you couldn't care less.
Imagine if that was it, though.
No Major League Baseball.
No other teams to watch.
Your favorite teams gone in the place of this possible monster.
This is, in fact, entirely possible and you know it. In this world of political correctness interfering with how things are done and advertised, this may be forced to happen to form more "unity" between nations. If you don't want it to happen, you're closed-minded or racist, or some BS like that.
Hopefully, this never happens. Keep it, at the most, as a World Baseball Classic and do not interfere with AMERICA'S national pastime.
