WWE Ice Cream Bars: CM Punk and What Your Favorite WWE Star Would Taste Like

Alfred KonuwaDec 24, 2011

Since CM Punk casually demanded the return of WWE ice cream bars back in July, the nostalgia for the once-popular grapple-centric treat has taken on a life of its own.

In a recent interview with RedEyeChicago.com, the poorly-rated WWE Champion continued his surging campaign for ice cream bars.

Punk's ice cream talk took on a promising tone as it was revealed that the WWE is currently going through the proper channels to secure a licensing deal to bring the treats back, and their imminent return is expected to commence by next summer.

Given the array of superstars and divas housed under the biggest wrestling company in the world, an intriguing subplot begs the question: 'What would a given WWE superstar or diva taste like?'

Sure, all WWE ice cream bars are made in one flavor, but it's fun to at least imagine that each bar would be branded with its own flare and character based on whose likeness is brandished upon it.

CM Punk

1 of 15

A CM Punk ice cream bar would taste like rebellion and anti-establishment.  Those who decide to purchase CM Punk ice cream bars are defiantly going against the grain.

Most casual fans who enjoy these tattooed-covered treats gave the CM Punk ice cream bars a 2.9 out of 10 rating, and are strongly considering switching to another product.

Daniel Bryan

2 of 15

Those who are fans of the Daniel Bryan ice cream bars consume the product religiously and they don't let anybody speak out against the treats.

Bryan ice cream bar lovers wouldn't dare be caught dead near a Baskin-Robbins or a Ben & Jerry.  Too mainstream.  Too national...unless, of course the popular ice cream chains decide to carry the Daniel Bryan product.

The Big Show

Good luck eating this ice cream bar in one sitting as, chances are, there's no way the entire thing would fit in your mouth.

Sin Cara

4 of 15

The Sin Cara ice cream bar would be defective and would fall apart the minute it was taken out of its package.

Most people who paid for a Sin Cara bar found the treat to be overpriced and not nearly worth the money they paid for it.

The Rock

5 of 15

The Rock's ice cream bar would be available on a limited basis each year, and as a result it would be the highest selling ice cream bar of them all.

The McRib of ice cream bars, surely the people's ice cream wouldn't always be around, but their sheer existence alone would benefit the entire ice cream industry.

Kelly Kelly

6 of 15

The Kelly Kelly ice cream bars would be the most aesthetically pleasing of them all, however they would somehow be uncoordinated and hard to take.

Of course, every wrestler and his brother would have had at least one taste of the Kelly Kelly ice cream bars.

Randy Orton

7 of 15

A Randy Orton ice cream bar would be one of the best of the entire crop provided the manufacturer ensured it was properly put together.

No other bar would have as much potential to be great as the Randy Orton bars, potential which is on pace to be fully realized.

Zack Ryder

8 of 15

The Zack Ryder ice cream bars would be overlooked at first, but through a savvy social media campaign they would quickly become one of the more popular and in-demand ice cream bars on the truck.

Like the wrestler they honor, the Zack Ryder ice cream bars would come with a broski headband as well.

Dolph Ziggler

9 of 15

Dolph Ziggler ice cream bars would be good, not great and nobody would even bother with them if they weren't packaged with the Vickie Guerrero ice cream bars.

The Miz

10 of 15

With the treats being sold on every ice cream truck, grocery store, and gas station in sight, the Miz ice cream bars would almost be too available.

Not only would the Miz ice cream bars be well dressed and entertaining to watch, they would also have a promising future in the ice cream industry.

Rey Mysterio Jr.

11 of 15

They would obviously be amongst the smallest ice cream bars on the market, but what the Rey Mysterio Jr. ice cream bars lacked in size, they would more than make up for in taste and prestige.

Rey Mysterio ice cream bars would be subject to manufacturer's recall from time to time, but when they are fully available, there is nothing else quite like them.

Alberto Del Rio

12 of 15

Alberto Del Rio ice cream bars would make a big splash upon their debut, only to lose momentum as alternative treats become available.

Sellers of this particular product would curiously bide their time in making the treat the most featured ice cream bar on the market, much to the detriment of the ice cream bar itself.

The Bella Twins

13 of 15

The Bella Twin ice cream bars would obviously be packaged together, and would be a popular buy amongst celebrities, guests and authority figures.

John Cena

14 of 15

No matter who you are, everybody would have an opinion on the John Cena bars.  Some would love them, some not so much.  Some would enjoy the wholesome message implied with the ice cream bars, while others would insist that they turn heel.

John Cena ice cream bars would be the most prominent yet polarizing treats of them all and due to their strong sales, no major changes would be necessary.

Michael Cole

15 of 15

Despite being bad for business on a day-to-day basis and having an adverse effect on any growth of the ice cream industry as a whole, the Michael Cole ice cream bars would be forced on wrestling and ice cream fans in all of its distractingly obnoxious glory.

Michael Cole ice cream bars would be good in small chunks, but simply unbearable otherwise.  These treat would not be recommended as a regular purchase.
