Atlanta Hawks Video: Watch Hawks Stars Hilariously Wish You Happy Holidays

The Atlanta Hawks holiday video is pure cheese, and we should all be thankful for that. 

This video means a couple things.

For starters, most of these players were obviously forced to take part in what they would have rather stayed clear of. Indeed, some deliver a holiday greeting with what is just a shade above a frown.

Tracy McGrady, we're looking at you. 

Secondly, this means that basketball is right around the corner, and that is the best news as we head into Christmas day. 

If you are looking for a genuine moment, it comes at the end. Head coach Larry Drew does his best to save the sinking ship. Drew comes across as genuinely concerned that I have the happiest of holidays—and I appreciate such things, Coach. 

The rest of the video is pure hilarity, simply because of the contrast from diva singing her tail off and a bunch of overpaid athletes feigning interest with a lame, "come to play, come to play."

This video was as emotionally taxing as a David Lynch movie. There were parts that I cringed, laughed and others that I wanted to cry.

Tracy McGrady, we're still looking at you. 

Through it all, the point was driven home with great aplomb, despite most players forcing what is the faintest of smiles. 

The Atlanta Hawks want you to have a great holiday weekend, and they are gearing up for another season of highlights and fast breaks. 

Considering the summer that this league has had, it's truly a Christmas miracle that we get to see this video at all. I am very thankful for that.
