Anaheim Ducks Fan Video: Watch NHL Fan Ham It Up Behind the Glass

Donald WoodDec 20, 2011

The NHL is full of fans who love their sport with an undying passion. Those are what we call diehard hockey fans.

Then there are diehard fans that take their fascination with their team to a whole new level and customize their jerseys with ridiculous numbers and names. Those are called jersey fouls.

If you haven’t experienced the pure, unadulterated joy of jersey fouls, please see Mr. Greg Wyshynski over at Puck Daddy for you appropriate fix.

As for this special occasion, we head to Anaheim and the home of the Ducks for this particular jersey foul.

As you can see, there is an interview between the VS correspondent and new head coach Bruce Boudreau. All is going according to plan until one of the young men in the front row sees the interview going down.

The first man sees the interview beginning and calls upon his friend who appears to be wearing a standard Ducks jersey—quite the contrary.

As the chubby fan starts to point to himself, he realizes the madness that is attached to his back and the opportunity the heavens had presented him with. He unleashed the beast.

The classic P. Whipped name with the number 69.

As hard as I laughed, I have to agree with Puck Daddy on this one and throw the penalty flag here. While the initial reaction to the jersey is laughter, prolonged exposure will cause awkwardness and inappropriate conversations.

There is only one way this foul can be overturned, though. If under further review it is found that this man’s wife gave him this jersey, it would be acceptable—and much funnier.
