WWE News: Huge Clue Hidden in the Latest Mystery Promo "Prophetless"

So at this point we really still have no idea who this mystery wrestler is that's slated to return in two weeks.

As many of you know, fans have their hunches that it's either The Undertaker or Chris Jericho returning. However, last night's latest offering may have eliminated Jericho's name from the running.

According to prowrestling.net:

The notebook that was featured in the January 2 mystery person(s) teaser video appears to have the name "Chris" crossed out.

"

Now, this could mean one of two things, the first being obvious that this promo is not meant for Jericho. The second, being the promo is for Jericho and WWE is throwing us a curveball. Personally, I feel like it has to be Undertaker, returning with Michelle McCool by his side.

Up until they introduced the girl, it could have gone either way. However, this promo always seemed too dark for Jericho's persona. Even when Jericho was a heel, he never really played a dark character.

Either way, this promo should have a big payoff for whomever it is that is coming back. Hopefully, it will not be the newly rumored Skip Sheffield. As that would be kind of a bust for most fans.

I guess we will have to wait and see if this clue is as big of a deal as I feel it is. Personally, this appears to be proof that Jericho is not coming back. As it has been noted, Jericho and the WWE have had some issues of late regarding his contract.

If Jericho does not return, it's a bad thing. As I have said in the past, Jericho has nothing left to prove with the WWE and clearly has plenty of outside projects to keep him busy.
