LSU Football Video: Watch Erin Andrews Examine Les Miles' Christmas Stocking
Apparently, Les Miles' weirdness doesn't take holidays off.
ESPN college football sideline reporter and noted bombshell Erin Andrews recently snuck into the LSU coaches office to have a peak at goodies his legions of loyal fans have sent him for Christmas.
Miles' assistants, Annie and Savannah, were gracious enough to model the trinkets, which included a pair of alligator feet earrings, a hog tusk (for grinding up tough grass, of course), Mardi Gras beads that Annie estimates people would "do a lot for in New Orleans" and, of course, Cajun Reeboks.
Whatever that means.
I could be wrong here, but it sounds like The Hat's holiday gleanings would make for a rather flamboyant outfit, one that would play beautifully to the cameras when his Tigers take to the field against Alabama for the BCS National Championship at the Sugar Bowl in three weeks time.
With the bounty Miles has already come up with, I can only imagine the kinds of nonsensical gifts Nick Saban must be flooded with in Tuscaloosa. Perhaps an elephant tusk—as opposed to one from a feral pig—or a Bear Bryant fedora decked in hounds tooth-shaped rhinestones.
Silly me, those were probably last year's trinkets.
As for Miles, I wouldn't be surprised if a group of LSU boosters decide to ship a live Bengal tiger to his home, especially if his football playing ones bring home another crystal football.
Either way, The Hat figures to be the most interesting participant in just about any and every Secret Santa group in which he partakes, thanks to in large part to his many admirers in Baton Rouge.
