WWE TLC Results: CM Punk Is Leading Next Group of Great WWE Stars

Donald WoodDec 19, 2011

In one night, the WWE walked out of the TLC pay-per-view with its youth movement firmly in place.

All of the young talent is following in the footsteps of WWE Champion CM Punk.

The WWE has six young wrestlers wearing gold right now. To all the fans that said the WWE wasn’t trying to build towards the future, I think you may have missed the boat.

CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, Cody Rhodes and AirBoom are all the future of the WWE and they are all wearing titles at this moment. It’s exactly what the fans have been screaming for over the past few months.

While this all seems to have come to fruition very quickly, the WWE has been building to this moment for months and all of the hard word has finally paid off.

The leader of this youth revolution has been CM Punk and his ability to pull the strings he needs to know behind the scenes.

Do we really think it’s a coincidence that former ROH alum Daniel Bryan got the push he has over the past few months? Would that have happened without the word ROH Alum Punk put in?

Don’t be naïve!

This movement towards youth was all too necessary, but it took the open mind and willingness of CM Punk to put his name and career on the line to ensure the business continues to succeed.

While Vince McMahon was skeptical at first, everything that Punk has said has come to fruition and now they are living fat on the farm. After all, money makes the WWE universe spin.

If the WWE continues to push their younger talent while infusing proven stars to ensure the best possible product, we may be witnessing the renaissance of modern day wrestling.

It’s like Braveheart and CM Punk is leading the charge.
