WWE TLC 2011 Results: CM Punk Looks Dominant in Big Win Over Miz and Del Rio

CM Punk is on a whole different level.

He showed up at the WWE TLC PPV event and absolutely dominated The Miz and Alberto Del Rio.

Punk came out to a huge ovation as he walked under a ladder and proved to the world that the whole seven years of bad luck thing is a myth.

He was absolutely destroying Miz and was using a chair to do the damage. He drilled him in the knee and and really wore him down quickly. When Punk went to the ladder, he suffered a cheap shot by Ricardo Rodriguez and was handcuffed to the ladder, which allowed Alberto Del Rio to inflict some damage.

Yet in typical Punk fashion, he broke free and smashed the ladder away from Del Rio. He turns the tables quickly before Del Rio sends him through a table as the crowd was sent into a frenzy. At this point, Punk looked a bit beat up, but he certainly wasn't down for the count, as he continued to fend off both Del Rio and Miz.

Just as Del Rio begins to set up the ladder, Punk unscrews the turnbuckle and all three wrestlers are on top of ladders fighting it out.

This is when Punk takes over. He knocks Miz off, then delivers a brutal head kick to Del Rio that sends him flying. As Punk grabs the belt, he gets one more push from the Miz, but a GTS later, and this match was over.

Punk makes the climb and wins the title. It was an exciting match that reassured everyone's thoughts on Punk:

You can't mess with the hottest star in the sport. He is a well-oiled machine that is going to be a major factor for years to come.

Punk is without a doubt the best wrestler of 2011. What a great way to finish the year strong.
