WWE TLC 2011 Results: Cody Rhodes Retains Against Booker T, What Does It Mean?
Cody Rhodes took one more step into his future as he defeated a former six-time World Champion, Booker T, and held on tightly to his beautiful Intercontinental title.
That is one of the best things about Sunday night's pay-per-view event.
Seeing him as champion feels good and I truly believe in his character. Now, I am not sure this rivalry is over because if what my gut tells me is right, it will lead into the next chapter of this book: the Road to WrestleMania.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
It is no secret by now that Goldust, Cody's older half-brother, has been petitioning for a match against the Dashing One on the grandest stage of them all and even proposed to put up his career in order to win over supporters.
I would just love this match honestly, as it would get very personal and since Booker T is a good friend of Goldie, everything fits right into place.
There should be an eventual encounter between all three performers very soon. My guess is it should all take place next month in the Rumble match. The brothers should eliminate each other and it could all begin right there.
We witnessed a fine performance tonight from both Superstars and I would love to see it again at the Royal Rumble. If the Intercontinental championship is to regain even more prestige, Cody Rhodes needs to defend it a whole lot more.
It has been a few years since it was contested at WrestleMania. 2012 could be the year it finally happens again.
One thing we learned tonight is that Booker T is in phenomenal shape. The guy can still go and it is a privilege to see him in the ring.
Everyone loves him!
Rhodes winning tonight means things are looking up in the Intercontinental title scene. We have a fitting champion who looks great and worthy challengers of great experience in front of him in Booker T or hopefully soon, Goldust.
It has only just begun...this is exciting.
