Vanessa Bryant: Kobe Bryant's Wife Should Have Left Lakers Star Much Sooner

Vanessa Bryant should have divorced her husband and Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant much sooner than she did because of his inability to remain faithful.

We're told Vanessa had caught Kobe with "multiple women" over the years ... but his latest affair was the straw that broke the camel's back ... and she felt she needed to finally end the marriage.

Vanessa should have left Kobe well before this. I mean, multiple women is a big deal, and it was clear his priorities were not straight. I cannot believe the marriage lasted this long with this information now known.

She was very brave, or foolish, whichever you believe, to even stay with Bryant after he was charged with sexual assault in Colorado back in 2003, and admitted that he committed adultery.

It's clear Kobe is immature and unable to handle himself like a normal adult. On the court, his clashes with former teammate Shaquille O'Neal showed that Kobe wanted the spotlight and did not like the attention Shaq was receiving.

Their relationship grew to the point where the Lakers pretty much had to choose which one to part with, and the organization made the decision to part with O'Neal, sending him to the Miami Heat in a trade involving a number of players.

Vanessa's decision to divorce Bryant was the best one for her and the couple's two young girls, but the move should have come sooner.

Kobe appears to have been unfaithful several times, including "very recently." 

This marriage will be a distraction for the Lakers for a months. Off the court troubles often take their toll on NBA player's performances, and with Bryant's knees not in good shape and the fact he is 33 years old, it could be a long, tough season for the superstar player.
