Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Opponents: Bears
You know how I know the Seahawks defense is going to kick ass this week? Because they are playing a Matt Forte-less Chicago Bears offense led by Caleb Hanie.
Since losing Forte in the first quarter of their game against the Chiefs two weeks ago the Bears have mustered just 13 points.
Hanie is hopeless without the Bears' best weapon, and he didn't have a lot hope with him. In his three starts as the Bears' QB Hanie has chucked six picks and just two touchdown passes.
He now faces a Seahawks defense that has been playing solid football.
Over their past five games Seattle is allowing just over 14 points a game. This game is going to be a pick fest for Seattle. The Seahwaks have done an excellent job at snaring interceptions all year. They are eighth in the league intercepting 3.76 percent of all passes thrown. Over their last three games, this number is off the charts at 7.53 percent.
Hanie will be lucky to escape this game with just two interceptions, and the Bears will be lucky to score a point.
Opponents: Colts
The Tennessee Titans' defense will give this team a victory they desperately need to stay in the playoff race.
The Colts offense has been a disaster all season. They are 27th in passing yards and 28th rushing yards. The Titans are going to come out fired up and they will not allow the Colts to improve on these numbers.
Tennessee has done an incredible job all season at forcing opponents to put the ball on the ground. They are fourth in the league at recovering fumbles at .8 recovered per game. That number is getting better, too.
Over their last three games the Titans have recovered two fumbles per game. They will continue that impressive trend here. The Colts have lost .9 fumbles per game. That ranks them 28th in the league.
The Titans will get some key turnovers, and this will result in the Titans keeping the Colts off of the scoreboard.
Opponents: Chargers
Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense are in the midst of a resurgence over their last two games. That resurgence is about to come to a crashing end.
In their last two games, Rivers has enjoyed excellent pass protection, but that is due to the fact that Jaguars and Bills (their last two opponents) do not have a pass rush. The Ravens do.
The Ravens lead the NFL in sacks. They will get plenty of pressure on the Chargers suspect offensive line, and this will lead to Rivers reverting to his interception throwing ways.
Rivers has thrown 17 picks this year. That number is going to jump in this game. Baltimore will haul in a couple of Rivers' passes and will likely take one to the house. Also, San Diego is going to struggle to put any points on the board.
