WWE TLC 2011: Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler Are Ready To Become Legends
While many have overlooked Dolph Ziggler defending his US title against Zack Ryder in their match of the night predictions, this bout has all the potential to steal the show.
WWE isn’t investing very much into this TLC pay-per-view, which should allow the duo of Ziggler and Ryder to work the kind of extended match that can turn them into legends.
Many fans think that Ryder must win the US title to make this feud successful. I think a dirty victory for Ziggler would actually be the better step forward for both of these stars.

With Ziggler cheating his way to a victory, it would further Ziggler as a heel and Ryder as a face. All of the emotions found in that loss would make fans get behind Ryder’s rematch chances and the feud would be seriously relevant to the fans.
This feud is already one of the best things going for the WWE right now, but if WWE slow plays this like they should have with the CM Punk departure angle earlier this year, they would have a legendary battle on their hands.
Just like the first time Shawn Michaels and Scott Hall faced off in their epic ladder match, the duo of Ziggler and Ryder have an opportunity to lay the foundation for illustrious WWE careers.
Fans criticize the WWE for not building the stars of the future properly, but this is a chance to prove all the skeptics wrong. What they are doing with the US title picture is exactly how this situation should have been handled and WWE actually got this one right.
Now, the burden is on the shoulders of Ryder and Ziggler. Will they be able to pick up the match on carry it on their backs?
If these two competitors bring everything they have on Sunday night, there is no doubt that the fans will fall in love with this match and give it the pop it deserves. All it takes is Vince McMahon to be moved by a crowd reaction and a feud goes to the upper part of the card in a hurry.
With TLC lacking the high-profile main event, the ability for Ryder and Ziggler to get the biggest pop of the night is there. While that would be terrible news for CM Punk, it would mean that the WWE really may have their Shawn Michaels and Scott Hall after all.
