WWE News: Who Would Stone Cold Steve Austin Face in Final Career Match?
It has been a long seven years since the former six-time WWE Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin has graced a ring in a wrestling capacity since leaving Seattle's Safeco Field after being defeated by The Rock at WrestleMania XIX.
Could we ever see the WWE Hall of Famer return to the ring for one final match to cap his career?
According to Marc Middleton, via ProWrestling.com, Steve Austin wrote the following to a fan on Twitter yesterday:

If Austin ever does return for one final match, it would be very intriguing for the WWE, but who would Stone Cold face in such a match?
Even though the phenom will likely end his legendary career at this April’s WrestleMania 28 in Miami, the confrontation of Austin and the Undertaker would be the grand daddy of them all if the two superstars could meet at Jerry Jones’ Cowboys Stadium for WrestleMania 29.
How about getting revenge on his last Wrestlemania loss to The Rock in what would be the fourth meeting of the two former WWE champions?
With the buzz being created by The Rock vs. John Cena match in April, the fans of the WWE from both the attitude and current eras would love to see one more classic from the great one and the rattlesnake.
The third and final match for Stone Cold would be a showdown with the face of this current era of the WWE, John Cena.
I would have to believe the ovation for Austin, and the defying boos raining down on Cena, would be one of the most lopsided encounters in WWE history.
So with that, Bleachers, if Stone Cold Steve Austin had one final match for his professional wrestling career, who would you want the rattlesnake to face and where?
