Philadelphia Flyers Video: Watch Team Get Wild to Mac Miller's "Knock Knock"
One of the greatest series in sports programming meets a classic game, which then shakes the hand of a pop song that the state of Pennsylvania is mad for.
The hockey world is abuzz with anticipation of the 2012 Winter Classic that will see the Philadelphia Flyers squaring off against the New York Rangers at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
It's time for open-air goodness, and that means HBO is stepping in with epic coverage ala the 24/7 program. This is as good as it gets from a series that is the perfect blend of behind-the-scenes documentary and pregame hype machine.

One of the best parts of the series took place after a recent Flyers win. It also happened to be a puzzling moment.
You see, the Flyers love to get down funky style after wins, as most clubs do. But they jam to the same song every time. The song is Knock, Knock by Mac Miller.
The puzzling part is that Miller is a native of Pittsburgh, the Hatfields to Philadelphia's McCoys. So it's a tad odd that it would be in a Philadelphia locker room as the anthem of victory.
I am, of course, picking nits here as the Flyers can get as much good will as possible right now. The club lost their leader and captain Chris Pronger recently, and subsequently went on a tear of wins.
The good vibes must be working in their favor as they try to make the best of a season without their skipper.
For now, it's all smiles as the Flyers enter the next couple weeks to prepare for one of the best games of the season. Philadelphia, in an odd turn, better hope the Pittsburgh native is blasting in the locker room after the Winter Classic.
