Week 15 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Reggie Bush and Other RBs to Start

Zach KruseDec 16, 2011

In Week 15 of the NFL season, the following four running backs are guys you simply have to start on your fantasy roster.

Cedric Benson, Bengals

Benson ran for 91 yards against one the NFL's top rush defense last Sunday (Texans), which is an encouraging sign regardless of this week's matchup. But when you combine that with the fact that he faces the St. Louis Rams' run defense, which has given up the most rushing yards of any NFL team, you get a guy you must start this week. Benson could be big.

Reggie Bush, Dolphins

Quietly, Bush has put together back-to-back 100-yard games against two poor run defenses (Oakland, Philadelphia). He could make it three in a row on Sunday against another spotty run defense in the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs and the third-most touchdowns. Start, start, start.

Roy Helu, Redskins

I think Mike Shanahan has finally found his back for 2011. Helu has three straight 100-yard games, with two scores during that span. He's also averaging almost 29 touches a game over the three games, so this isn't just luck that he's racking up yards. The Giants have been beaten with the run over the past couple of weeks, so play Helu with confidence on Sunday.

Felix Jones, Cowboys

The top waiver wire pickup this week, Jones is a guy you want to immediately put in the starting lineup. Not only did Jones run for over 100 yards last week filling in for an injured DeMarco Murray, but he'll now face fantasy football's worst defense against opposing running backs in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. There's still risk for a dud, but Jones is a guy you can't afford to keep on the bench.
