WWE TLC 2011: The 10 Sickest Chair Shots in TLC Match History
The TLC match is one of the most dangerous contests in WWE history.
Since its inception in 2000, the TLC match has thrown up some spine-tingling moments. Most of the memorable scenes include either a ladder or a table.
Jeff Hardy diving from a 20-foot ladder? Check.
Bubba Ray Dudley and Matt Hardy crashing through four tables? Check.
Yet no one stops to think about the sickening chair shots that have occurred over the past 11 years.
There truly have been some skull-crushing moments, and I am here to take you through the worst of them. So sit back, relax and enjoy the read.

Steel Van Daminator (TLC IV)

Van Dam does it for real here and though Bubba Ray gets a hand up, he still eats some of that steel chair.
He would have seen it coming if it hadn’t have been for that chair blocking his view...
This Should Be Called the Paralyser... (TLC VI)

I think I’d rather get thrown off Hell in a Cell—it would be less painful.
His back crushes both chairs that were set up by Edge and it makes me cringe just watching it.

After an eye-watering blow to the head, The Undertaker was soon back up on his feet, giving Edge the beating of his life.
Spike Dudley Causes Concussion and Chaos (TLC II)

A vile chair shot to Rhino’s head spells bad things for Edge in this spot as he ends up with his knackers wrapped around the ring ropes.
Rhino clearly didn't know what he was doing after head-butting that chair.
Edge Scores a Home Run (TLC VI)

Edge scores a home run with no strikes.

The Sound of Jericho’s Skull Echoes Through the Arrowhead Pond (TLC III)
6 of 10And echo it did. Christian seems to catch Jericho with the tip of the chair, causing the loud crack the audience heard.
Either way, it didn’t look pretty and looked even more shocking as Jericho fell onto another opponent, as if he really was stunned by that ridiculous chair shot to the skull.
Watching that, I’m not surprised they are banned.
Bubba Ray Gets Creamed! (TLC I)
7 of 10Jerry “The King” Lawler says it best when Bubba takes a horrendous chair to the head.
I’m not a sadist, but this chair shot ranks as one of the funniest, as Bubba Ray just flops to the ground off camera.
His dazed expression tells the whole story.
Bubba Won’t Go Down After a Gunshot Chair Shot (TLC I)
8 of 10Bubba again. D-Von takes a chair shot to the head seconds before this, but Bubba takes the biggest one.
It is loud enough to deafen those in the front row and blind Bubba Ray Dudley.
How he carried on after that I’ll never know.
It really did sound like a gunshot as well.
Jeff Hardy Collides Headfirst with a Chair in Midair (TLC I)

Jeff Hardy tries to capitalise on this momentary stun by doing the trademark Poetry in Motion, but he has an unfortunate meeting with the steel chair.
It looks and sounds more painful than it probably was but for sheer shock value, it gains second position on this list.
Lita Cracks Spike’s Skull, Then Reveals Her Assets in Celebration (TLC II)
10 of 10I bet you didn’t expect Lita to appear at the top of this list, but once you witness the chair shot she delivers to Spike Dudley, you’ll see why.
She wraps it so far round his head it bends in the opposite direction, rendering it useless.
I swear this pick had nothing to do with her celebration.
