Patrick Kane Video: Watch Blackhawks Superstar Make a Fool out of Wild's Goalie
Patrick Kane is one of the best players in the NHL. However, you do not need me to tell you that because his Stanley Cup ring, Olympic Medal and All-Star selection speak for themselves.
Plus, he can give us a video that makes you stand and yell with excitement, like you will do after watching Kane's goal from last night's shootout against the Minnesota Wild.
This video of Kane undressing Wild goalie, Nicklas Backstrom, adds to his long list of highlight reel goals.

You can see in the video that Kane does not stop his momentum while dangling the puck in front of Backstrom. If he would have stopped moving towards the goalie then it would have made the play dead, which would have resulted in the goal not counting.
Instead, what we get is Kane making Backstrom look silly trying to guess where Kane is going to go with his shot.
Kane said to the Chicago Tribune after the game about his goal:
"I just kind of slowed down and waited for the goalie to bite. I didn't know which way I was going to go. I've been kind of practicing a little practice to go slow and see which way the goalie bites so I was ready either to bring it back to my backhand or forehand and he bit on the backhand fake.
"
His teammate and Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews shared in the joy and amazement that everyone else felt while watching this goal.
"It was awesome; it was sick. For the win, there's a lot of pressure. It's tough to go in thinking about what you want to do with all that riding on it. He made no mistakes. (It was) a big win for the boys and a little flash by P. Kane. It was pretty nice to watch.
"
Kane is one of those special talents that will be around the NHL for the next ten to 15 years. Hopefully he can bring more of these highlight type goals for all of us to watch and enjoy.
