San Jose Sharks Video: Watch Team Give Advice on Holiday Gifts

The holidays are all about spending time with your loved ones. While you're are with those loved ones, you will want to get them a gift that they will love. Well, the San Jose Sharks are here to help you with your Christmas shopping. 

This is the second year where the Sharks have put together a holiday video where they “sell” items for the Sharks Sports and Entertainment Hockey Network. 

Some of the “items” up for sale could really make for some great Christmas gifts.

Let’s say that you have a daughter that want’s to have a future in figure skating. Look no further than Jamie McGinn’s princess gown. The Sharks want you to buy this so bad, they are willing to knock off $20. 

Or if you have always wanted a chest full of hair, but you cannot seem to grow any. Well, now you can purchase “Jumbo Joe’s” woolly mammoth chest toupee. Just think of all the compliments that you will receive with that hair piece on your chest. 

Finally, for those who love that authentic game-worn memorabilia, you can purchase Logan Couture’s American Hockey League jersey from his days with the Worcester Sharks. And you can tell it’s game worn, because it still has a chowder smell on it from when Logan spilled some on the jersey. 

It is refreshing to see a team like the Sharks take time out of their daily schedule to film a video like this. It shows their lighthearted side, and gives the players a chance to unwind. 

It’s a shame that more teams do not film short films like this for their fans to enjoy. 

Now I have to go and see if I can order Joe Thornton’s dummy, “Slappy.”
