WWE TLC 2011: The Sledgehammer Ladder Match Will Be the Worst Match of the Night

In a previous article of mine previewing this Sunday’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs event, I said the third encounter between Mark Henry and the Big Show for the World Heavyweight title would be the worst match of the night in Baltimore.

While I still believe the Henry/Show match won’t tear the roof off the arena Sunday, the sledgehammer ladder match has taken over the spot to be the worst match of the night at TLC.

Between Triple H and Kevin Nash, two of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling, the pair have only competed in a combined two ladder match over their careers

While being the only one of the two who has competed in a ladder match, The Game hasn’t participated in a ladder match since 2002.

On the other hand, Kevin Nash has never competed in a ladder match in his stops with the WWE, WCW and TNA, probably in fear that he’ll tear another muscle in his leg and be sidelined from action yet again.

OK, that last remark about Nash’s frequency for injuries was a little underhanded but if you are a wrestling fan, you’ll remember Nash entering his first match after injury on RAW and re-injuring himself as soon as he entered the match.

But going back to the match, the ending of the match is easy to call as Nash will gingerly climb the ladder, grab the sledgehammer and before attacking Triple H, the Game will somehow knock the sledgehammer away and give him the chance for the win.

So Bleachers, let me know in the comments if you think the Nash/Triple H ladder match will be a good match at TLC or just a filler match to put this seemingly never-ending rivalry to rest this Sunday.
